Skurups Sparbank API Access & Open Banking Data
Skurups Sparbank serves communities around Skurup, Svedala and Trelleborg in southern Sweden, and its accounts sit behind the Swedbank platform (BIC SWEDSESS). With open-banking.io you can pull that account and transaction data into one place under PSD2 — no eIDAS certificate, no bank partnership, and no data ever leaving your control unencrypted. Both business and personal accounts are supported, with a consent that lasts up to 180 days before you re-approve it.
open-banking.io is a zero-knowledge service covering 2,600+ EU and UK banks. Your encryption keys are generated on your own device, so the only thing our servers ever hold is your public key. Everything you see is decrypted locally.
How to connect Skurups Sparbank
Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.
- Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your private key is generated locally and never reaches us.
- In the dashboard, search for Skurups Sparbank and choose the account type you want to link — business or personal.
- You are redirected to Skurups Sparbank's own secure login, where you approve access on the bank's PSD2 consent screen. Your credentials stay with the bank.
- Your accounts sync back into the dashboard. The consent stays valid for up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve.
Access your data
Reading the data programmatically is an optional developer step, only available after you have connected in the dashboard. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key.
From there, use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key on its own only ever returns ciphertext — without your private key it stays unreadable, even to us. Note the CLI and SDK only read and sync connections that already exist; there is no connect command.
