DiPocket (Romania) API Access & Open Banking Data

Want programmatic, private access to your DiPocket (Romania) accounts? open-banking.io lets you link DiPocket once and then read balances and transactions through a dashboard or, if you're a developer, a CLI, SDK and REST API. It covers 2,600+ EU and UK banks, needs no eIDAS certificate, and costs around EUR 3/month. Because it's zero-knowledge, your financial data is decrypted locally with a key only you hold — our servers only ever store your public key and ciphertext.

DiPocket (Romania) supports business and personal accounts, operates under BIC DIUALT22, and grants a consent window of up to 180 days before you re-authorise.

How to connect DiPocket

Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there's no API call, code or key involved.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated on your own device.
  2. In the dashboard, search for and select DiPocket (Romania), then choose the account type — business or personal.
  3. You're redirected to DiPocket's own secure login to approve access under PSD2. You authenticate directly with the bank; open-banking.io never sees your credentials.
  4. Once approved, your DiPocket accounts sync into your dashboard, ready to view or export.

Access your data

After the connection is live, developers can optionally read it programmatically. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key plus your private decryption key. Then use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections you've already made in the dashboard — there is no connect command, and an API key alone returns only ciphertext until your private key unlocks it.
