Nordea Corporate Norway API & Open Banking Access

Reading your Nordea Corporate (Norway) account and transaction data no longer means building your own PSD2 stack. open-banking.io gives you compliant access to your business banking data across 2,600+ European banks, with one crucial difference: everything is decrypted locally with a key only you hold. There are no eIDAS certificates to buy, no gateway to maintain, and no way for open-banking.io to read what flows through it.

Nordea Corporate operates under BIC NDEANOKK and, through open-banking.io, exposes business account types. A single approval grants you a consent window of up to 180 days before Nordea Corporate asks you to re-authorise — keeping long-running reporting, reconciliation, and cash-flow tools running without constant re-connects.

How to connect Nordea Corporate

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — no API call, code, or key is involved at this stage.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated on your own device, so the service only ever holds your public key.
  2. In the dashboard, pick Nordea Corporate from the bank list and choose the business account type.
  3. You're redirected to Nordea Corporate's own secure login, where you approve access on the bank's PSD2 consent screen.
  4. Your accounts sync straight into your dashboard, ready to view or export.

That's the whole flow — you approve access at Nordea, and nobody redirects an account holder on your behalf.

Access your data

Once Nordea Corporate is connected, developers can optionally read the data programmatically. From the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there, use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections you've already approved — there's no connect command. Without your private key, an API key alone returns nothing but ciphertext.

Do I need an eIDAS certificate for Nordea Corporate?

No. open-banking.io is certificate-free — you approve access directly on Nordea's consent screen.

Can open-banking.io see my Nordea data?

No. It's zero-knowledge: your data is decrypted on your device with a key only you hold.
