Landkreditt Mastercard Open Banking & API Access
Reading your Landkreditt Mastercard data no longer means scraping statements or building your own PSD2 stack. open-banking.io links your card once and keeps a live, encrypted copy of your balances and transactions in a dashboard only you can decrypt. It covers 2,600+ banks across the EU and UK, so Landkreditt Mastercard sits alongside every other account you hold behind a single, certificate-free login.
Landkreditt Mastercard is a Norwegian personal card, so open-banking.io exposes personal account access here (no BIC is published for this product). Every consent you grant lasts up to 180 days before Landkreditt asks you to reauthorise — a hard PSD2 limit, not an open-banking.io choice.
How to connect Landkreditt Mastercard
Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, key, or code involved in this step.
- Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated on your own device, so nobody at open-banking.io can ever read what comes back.
- In the dashboard, search for Landkreditt Mastercard and choose the personal account type.
- You are redirected to Landkreditt's own secure login, where you approve the PSD2 consent directly with the bank.
- Control returns to your dashboard and your card accounts sync automatically, refreshing on their own within the consent window.
Access your data
Once your card is connected, programmatic access is an optional developer add-on. Open the Developers page, create an API key, and export a credentials.json — it bundles the API key with your private decryption key. From there the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), the SDKs, and the REST API all read your existing connection; there is no connect command, because linking only ever happens in the dashboard. Requests send an X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your key. Without that private key an API key alone returns only ciphertext — open-banking.io's servers hold your public key and nothing more.
All of this runs for roughly EUR 3/month, with no eIDAS certificate or bank sponsorship to arrange.
Is a QWAC or PSD2 certificate required?
No. open-banking.io is certificate-free — you approve access on Landkreditt's own consent screen, and that is the only credential involved.
Can open-banking.io see my Landkreditt Mastercard transactions?
No. The service is zero-knowledge: data is decrypted on your device with a key only you hold, so servers only ever store ciphertext.
How often do I reconnect?
Landkreditt consents run up to 180 days. When one expires, reapprove it from the dashboard to keep your card syncing.
