Deutsche Bank Netherlands Open Banking & API Access
Deutsche Bank's Dutch operation serves corporate and institutional clients across the Netherlands, and open-banking.io lets you bring those account balances and transactions into one place — without certificates, sponsor banks or a PSD2 licence of your own. You approve access once, and your data flows in encrypted, readable only on your own device.
Deutsche Bank in the Netherlands offers business accounts (its Dutch presence is focused on corporate banking). Access consent lasts up to 180 days before it needs renewing, and no public BIC is listed here for the connection — you simply pick the bank in the dashboard.
How to connect Deutsche Bank
Everything happens in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no code, endpoint or key involved in linking the account:
- Sign up for open-banking.io and open the web dashboard.
- Set an encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally on your device, so only you can ever unlock your data.
- Choose Deutsche Bank (Netherlands) in the dashboard and select the business account type.
- Approve on Deutsche Bank's own login. You're redirected to the bank's secure consent screen to authenticate and grant PSD2 access — your credentials stay with Deutsche Bank.
- Watch it sync. Your accounts and transactions appear in the dashboard, refreshed automatically for the life of the consent.
Access your data
Once the account is connected, developers can read it programmatically — this is an optional step, not part of connecting. From the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json (your API key plus your private decryption key). Then use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your key. The key alone returns only ciphertext — open-banking.io holds just your public key and can never read your data.
At around EUR 3/month, it's a low-cost, zero-knowledge route to Deutsche Bank data.
Is my Deutsche Bank login shared with open-banking.io?
No. You authenticate on Deutsche Bank's own consent screen; open-banking.io never sees your banking credentials.
