Eurobank Private Bank API & Open Banking Access
Eurobank Private Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. serves private and corporate clients from its Luxembourg base, and open-banking.io gives you a clean, PSD2-compliant way to reach that account data. Instead of scraping statements or wrangling bank certificates, you link Eurobank Private Bank once and let your accounts sync into a single dashboard. Everything is decrypted locally with a key only you hold, so the service is genuinely zero-knowledge and certificate-free — no eIDAS certificate, no sandbox paperwork, no waiting on a developer portal.
Eurobank Private Bank supports both business and personal account access, its BIC is ERBKLULL, and a single consent stays valid for up to 180 days before you re-approve.
How to connect Eurobank Private Bank
Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in the linking step:
- Sign up at open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your cryptographic keys are generated on your own device, never on the server.
- In the dashboard, search for Eurobank Private Bank (Luxembourg) and choose the account type you need — business or personal.
- You are redirected to Eurobank Private Bank's own secure login and consent screen, where you approve access directly with the bank (standard PSD2 authentication).
- Your accounts and transactions sync back into your dashboard, ready to view and refresh.
Because approval takes place on the bank's own page, open-banking.io never sees your Eurobank Private Bank credentials.
Access your data
Want to pull the data programmatically? That's an optional developer step you take after the bank is connected. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — it bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. Then use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. There is no connect command — the CLI and SDK only read and sync connections you already made in the dashboard. Without your private key, an API key alone returns nothing but ciphertext.
All of this runs at around EUR 3/month across 2,600+ EU and UK banks.
Do I need an eIDAS certificate?
No. open-banking.io is certificate-free; you approve access on Eurobank Private Bank's consent screen.
Can open-banking.io read my transactions?
No. It stores only your public key, so data is decrypted on your device — it's zero-knowledge by design.
How long does consent last?
Up to 180 days per approval, after which you re-confirm with the bank.
