Société Générale Global Cash is a corporate cash-management service, and open-banking.io gives you a clean, PSD2-compliant route to reach its account data without wrestling with eIDAS certificates or bank-specific portals. You get read access to your Société Générale Global Cash business accounts (BIC SOGEFRPPXXX), with balances and transactions flowing into one encrypted dashboard alongside any of the 2,600+ other EU and UK banks we cover.

How to connect Société Générale Global Cash

Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your private key is created locally at this moment and never leaves your device.
  2. In the dashboard, search for Société Générale Global Cash and choose the business account type.
  3. You are redirected to Société Générale Global Cash's own secure login, where you approve access on the bank's PSD2 consent screen.
  4. Your accounts sync back into the dashboard. Consent lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve.

Access your data

Once the connection exists, reading it programmatically is an optional developer step. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key on its own returns only ciphertext — without your private key, the data stays unreadable.

All of this runs for about EUR 3/month, with no certificate paperwork.

Do I connect Société Générale Global Cash with an API key?

No. Connecting is done in the dashboard via the bank's own consent screen. API keys only read data from connections that already exist.
