How to connect BCC Garda

  2. In the dashboard, search for and select BCC Garda, then choose whether you're linking a personal or business account.
  3. You're redirected to BCC Garda's own secure login, where you approve access under PSD2 consent — directly with the bank, never through us.
  4. Once approved, your accounts and transactions sync into your dashboard automatically.

That's the whole flow. No developer redirect, no manual token exchange.

Access your data

Developers who want programmatic access can take an optional extra step after the account is connected. From the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key and your private decryption key. From there you can use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries your key in the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your private key. An API key alone only ever returns ciphertext.

Because open-banking.io is zero-knowledge, our servers hold only your public key — they can never read or decrypt your BCC Garda data. It's certificate-free, and the whole service costs around EUR 3/month.
