BCC Cantù API Access & Open Banking Integration

Reach your BCC Cantù accounts through a single, privacy-first workspace. open-banking.io links to the Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Cantù cooperative over regulated PSD2 access, covering both business and personal account types with a maximum consent window of 180 days before you re-approve. BCC Cantù does not publish a routable BIC here (BIC: n/a), so open-banking.io identifies the institution for you during setup — there is nothing to look up by hand.

Everything is certificate-free and zero-knowledge. Your encryption keys are generated on your own device, and open-banking.io only ever holds your public key, so account data is decrypted locally and never readable on their servers. How to connect BCC Cantù

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — no API call, code, or key is involved.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase; your private key is created locally and stays with you.
  2. In the dashboard, search for and select BCC Cantù, then choose the account type (business or personal).
  3. You are redirected to BCC Cantù's own secure login to review and approve the PSD2 consent.
  4. Once approved, your accounts and transactions sync back into your dashboard, refreshing within the 180-day consent period.

Access your data

Programmatic access is an optional step after the connection already exists. Open the Developers page, create an API key, and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there you can use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your key. The API key alone only returns ciphertext; without your private key the data stays unreadable. Note the CLI and SDK read and sync existing links only — they cannot connect a bank.

Does BCC Cantù support business accounts?

Yes. Both business and personal BCC Cantù accounts can be linked, and you pick the type when you select the bank in the dashboard.

Up to 180 days. After that, simply repeat the approval on BCC Cantù's login screen to keep data syncing.

Can open-banking.io read my BCC Cantù data?

No. The service is zero-knowledge and holds only your public key, so decryption happens on your device with a key only you control.
