BCC Basilicata Open Banking & API Access | open-banking.io

Reaching your BCC Basilicata accounts programmatically no longer means chasing a bank sandbox or a QWAC certificate. open-banking.io is a certificate-free bridge to 2,600+ EU and UK banks, so a single, privacy-first workflow covers BCC Basilicata alongside every other institution you hold. The service is zero-knowledge: your data is decrypted on your own device with a key only you control, and open-banking.io's servers keep nothing but your public key.

BCC Basilicata supports both personal and business accounts, and a single PSD2 consent stays valid for up to 180 days before you re-authorise. No public BIC is listed for this cooperative, so open-banking.io resolves the connection for you inside the dashboard — there is nothing to look up by hand.

How to connect BCC Basilicata

Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up at open-banking.io and set an encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally on your device from that passphrase.
  2. In the dashboard, choose BCC Basilicata and select whether you're linking a personal or business account.
  3. You're redirected to BCC Basilicata's own secure login, where you approve access on the bank's PSD2 consent screen.
  4. Your accounts and transactions sync back into your dashboard, ready to view or export.

Access your data

Once BCC Basilicata is connected, reading it in code is an optional developer step. Open the Developers page, create an API key, and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your key. An API key on its own only ever returns ciphertext, so your BCC Basilicata data stays unreadable to anyone without your private key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync existing connections — the linking always happens in the dashboard first.

All of this runs for roughly EUR 3/month, with no certificates and no per-bank onboarding.

Does open-banking.io ever see my BCC Basilicata data?

No. It's zero-knowledge — the servers hold only your public key, and decryption happens on your device.

Can I connect BCC Basilicata from the CLI?

No. There is no connect command. You link BCC Basilicata in the dashboard; the CLI and SDK only read what's already connected.
