UBS France API Access & Open Banking Integration

Tapping into your UBS France banking data no longer means chasing certificates or wrestling with raw PSD2 endpoints. With open-banking.io you link your UBS France account once and get a clean, continuously synced view of balances and transactions — covering both business and personal accounts. Everything you retrieve is decrypted on your own device with a key that never leaves it, so your financial detail stays yours alone.

UBS France sits alongside 2,600+ European and UK banks reachable through the same service, and access follows the standard PSD2 consent model with a maximum consent window of 180 days before you re-approve. Note that UBS France does not publish a public BIC for this integration (BIC: not available), so selection is handled by name inside the dashboard rather than by bank code.

How to connect UBS France

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step:

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally on your device.
  2. Open the dashboard and search for UBS France, then choose the account type you want to link (business or personal).
  3. You are redirected to UBS France's own secure login, where you approve access under PSD2.
  4. Once approved, your accounts flow back into the dashboard and begin syncing automatically.

That's the whole flow: you authenticate on UBS's own consent screen, never handing credentials to open-banking.io.

Access your data

Programmatic access is an optional step for developers, available only after the connection above exists. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundle holds your API key and your private decryption key. From there you can use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. Because open-banking.io is zero-knowledge and stores only your public key, an API key on its own returns nothing but ciphertext.

The service is certificate-free and costs roughly EUR 3/month.

Do I need a developer account to use UBS France?

No. Connecting and viewing UBS France data works entirely in the dashboard. API keys and the CLI are optional extras for building on top of it.

Can open-banking.io read my UBS France transactions?

No. Data is decrypted only on your device with your private key. The servers hold your public key and encrypted data they cannot read.

Up to 180 days, after which you re-approve access on UBS France's own login screen.
