Louvre Banque Privée API Access & Open Banking
Louvre Banque Privée, the private-banking arm of La Banque Postale, serves clients across metropolitan France, Réunion and the Caribbean. open-banking.io lets you reach your Louvre Banque Privée account data through one certificate-free service that spans 2,600+ EU and UK banks — no eIDAS certificate, no PSD2 licence and no bespoke integration required on your side.
The difference is where your data lives. open-banking.io is zero-knowledge: your encryption keys are generated on your own device, and the servers only ever hold your public key. Every figure that reaches you is decrypted locally, so nobody at open-banking.io — or anywhere else — can read your Louvre Banque Privée balances or transactions.
How to connect Louvre Banque Privée
Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code or key involved in this step.
- Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your private key is derived on your device and never leaves it.
- In the dashboard, choose Louvre Banque Privée and select the personal account type.
- You are redirected to Louvre Banque Privée's own secure login, where you approve access on the bank's PSD2 consent screen.
- Your accounts sync back into the dashboard. Consent lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve on the bank's screen.
Louvre Banque Privée has no published BIC in our directory, but none is needed — you pick the bank by name in the dashboard.
Access your data
Reading your data programmatically is an optional step after the connection exists. From the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key and your private decryption key. Then use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. Without that private key an API key returns only ciphertext, and the CLI and SDK only read or sync connections that already exist — they never create one.
All of this runs at around EUR 3/month.
