Banque Populaire Alsace Lorraine Champagne API Access

Banque Populaire Alsace Lorraine Champagne (BPALC, BIC CCBPFRPPMTZ) serves personal and business customers across the Alsace, Lorraine and Champagne regions. With open-banking.io you can bring your BPALC accounts into one dashboard and, if you want, read them programmatically — without certificates, without a bank partnership, and without ever handing your data to a third party in readable form.

open-banking.io is a zero-knowledge open-banking service covering 2,600+ EU and UK banks. Your data is decrypted locally with an encryption key that only you hold; our servers only ever see your public key and ciphertext.

How to connect Banque Populaire Alsace Lorraine Champagne

Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated on your own device.
  2. In the dashboard, pick Banque Populaire Alsace Lorraine Champagne and choose the account type you need — business or personal are both supported.
  3. You are redirected to BPALC's own secure login, where you approve access under PSD2. Your consent stays valid for up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve.
  4. Your accounts and transactions sync back into your dashboard automatically.

That's the whole flow. You never share your BPALC credentials with us — you enter them only on the bank's own screen.

Access your data

Once BPALC is connected, developers can optionally read the data programmatically. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key plus your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API directly.

Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key on its own returns only ciphertext — without your private key, no one (including us) can read it. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections you already made in the dashboard; there is no connect command.

All of this is included for around EUR 3/month.

Do I need a developer agreement with BPALC?

No. open-banking.io uses the regulated PSD2 consent flow, so you approve access directly on BPALC's login screen — no certificates or bank contract required.

Can open-banking.io read my BPALC transactions?

No. The service is zero-knowledge: it stores only your public key. Data is decrypted on your device with a key only you hold.

Which account types are supported?

Both business and personal BPALC accounts, with consent lasting up to 180 days per approval.
