AXA Banque open banking & API access | France
Reaching your AXA Banque account data no longer means wrestling with bank IT departments, eIDAS certificates, or a stack of PSD2 paperwork. With open-banking.io you link AXA Banque (France) once from a single dashboard and get a clean, continuously synced view of your accounts — plus an optional developer path when you want the raw numbers in your own code.
AXA Banque is covered as a French personal-account provider under BIC AXABFRPPXXX, and access consent runs for up to 180 days before you renew it. open-banking.io is zero-knowledge and certificate-free: your encryption keys are generated on your own device, so the service stores only your public key and can never read or decrypt what syncs through it.
How to connect AXA Banque
Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.
- Sign up for open-banking.io and set an encryption passphrase. Your private decryption key is created locally, on your device, and never leaves it.
- In the dashboard, search for and select AXA Banque, then choose the personal account type.
- You are redirected to AXA Banque's own secure login and consent screen, where you authorise access directly with the bank (standard PSD2 approval).
- Once you approve, your AXA Banque accounts and transactions sync back into your dashboard, ready to view and refresh.
That consent stays valid for the 180-day window, after which you simply re-approve from the dashboard.
Access your data
After a connection exists, developers can optionally read it programmatically. From the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. Then use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key on its own only ever returns ciphertext — without your private key it stays unreadable, which is exactly what zero-knowledge means. The CLI and SDK read and sync existing connections; they don't create them.
All of this runs at roughly EUR 3/month.
