SAS EuroBonus Mastercard API Access & Open Banking
Want your SAS EuroBonus Mastercard transactions, balances and statement history in your own tools? open-banking.io gives you a single, private route to your Finnish SAS EuroBonus Mastercard data — no bank certificates, no eIDAS setup and no waiting for a developer sandbox. It works across 2,600+ EU and UK banks and card issuers, and every byte you pull is decrypted on your own device with a key only you hold. open-banking.io's servers keep just your public key, so they can never read your card activity.
How to connect SAS EuroBonus Mastercard
Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code or key involved in this step.
- Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally on your device at this moment.
- In the dashboard, search for SAS EuroBonus Mastercard and choose the personal account type (personal accounts are supported).
- You are redirected to SAS EuroBonus Mastercard's own secure login to approve access under PSD2. You authenticate directly with the issuer — open-banking.io never sees your credentials.
- Approve the consent (valid for up to 180 days), and your card account syncs straight into your dashboard.
Because SAS EuroBonus Mastercard is a card product, no BIC is required to connect.
Access your data
Reading data programmatically is an optional step after your card is connected. Open the Developers page, create an API key, and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key on its own only ever returns ciphertext — without your private key it stays unreadable, which is what makes the service zero-knowledge.
All of this runs on a simple subscription of about EUR 3/month.
Do I need an eIDAS certificate?
No. open-banking.io is certificate-free — you just approve access on SAS EuroBonus Mastercard's own consent screen.
Can the CLI connect my card for me?
No. Connecting is done only in the dashboard. The CLI, SDK and API read and sync accounts that already exist — there is no connect command.
How long does my consent last?
Up to 180 days, after which you re-approve on the issuer's login to keep your SAS EuroBonus Mastercard data syncing.
