Nordea Corporate Finland Open Banking API Access

Reading data from Nordea Corporate (Finland) normally means wrestling with PSD2 certificates, sandbox registrations and eIDAS paperwork. open-banking.io removes all of that. It connects to Nordea Corporate — BIC NDEAFIHH — on your behalf, syncs your business accounts into a single dashboard, and encrypts everything with a key that never leaves your device. No certificate applications, no developer onboarding queue.

Because open-banking.io is zero-knowledge, its servers only ever hold your public key. Your transactions are decrypted locally, so no third party — not even open-banking.io — can read your Nordea Corporate data. All of this runs on a flat subscription of roughly EUR 3/month, with access to 2,600+ European banks under one account.

How to connect Nordea Corporate

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, key or code involved in this step:

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set an encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated right there on your own device.
  2. In the dashboard, pick Nordea Corporate (Finland) and choose the business account type.
  3. You are redirected to Nordea's own secure login, where you approve access on their PSD2 consent screen. Your credentials go only to Nordea.
  4. Your accounts sync back into the dashboard. Consent lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve on Nordea's screen.

Access your data

Once Nordea Corporate is connected, developers can optionally read the data programmatically. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key and your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key alone only ever returns ciphertext — without your private key it stays unreadable.

Do I need an eIDAS certificate for Nordea Corporate?

No. open-banking.io is certificate-free. You approve access directly on Nordea's consent screen; no PSD2 certificate or licence is required from you.

Can open-banking.io see my Nordea transactions?

No. The service is zero-knowledge and stores only your public key. Decryption happens on your device with a key only you hold.

How often do I re-authorise?

Nordea Corporate consent runs for up to 180 days. When it expires, reconnect in the dashboard by approving again on Nordea's login.
