Finnair Plus Mastercard API Access & Open Banking
Frequent flyers who pay with the Finnair Plus Mastercard rack up card statements that are easy to earn on but awkward to analyse. open-banking.io gives you a clean, programmatic route to your own Finnair Plus Mastercard data across the EU and UK, without certificates, sandboxes or bank-specific onboarding. You approve access once, and your card activity syncs into a private dashboard that only you can decrypt.
Under PSD2, the Finnair Plus Mastercard is reachable for personal accounts. Its BIC is not published in our directory, but you don't need one — you simply select the card by name when you connect. Consent lasts up to 180 days, after which a quick re-approval keeps the link alive.
How to connect Finnair Plus Mastercard
Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code or key involved in this step.
- Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated on your own device, so nobody else can read what you connect.
- In the dashboard, pick Finnair Plus Mastercard and choose the personal account type.
- You're redirected to Finnair Plus Mastercard's own secure login and consent screen to approve access.
- Once approved, your card accounts and transactions sync straight into your dashboard.
Access your data
Reading the data programmatically is an optional developer step you take after the card is connected. Open the Developers page, create an API key, and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. The API key alone only ever returns ciphertext.
This is the zero-knowledge, certificate-free model: open-banking.io stores only your public key and can never read your data, all for around EUR 3/month across 2,600+ banks.
Do I need a BIC to connect the card?
No. The BIC isn't listed and isn't required — select Finnair Plus Mastercard by name in the dashboard.
Can the CLI connect my card for me?
No. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections that already exist. Connecting is always done in the dashboard.
How long does my consent last?
Up to 180 days per approval. Re-confirm on the card's consent screen to continue syncing.
