Société Générale Global Cash Open Banking API

Société Générale Global Cash serves corporate treasurers who need a live picture of their balances and cash flows in Spain. With open-banking.io you can bring that account data into a single dashboard — and, if you write software, read it programmatically — without EIDAS certificates, without QWAC/QSEAL setup, and without ever handing your data to a third party in the clear. Everything is decrypted on your own device with a key that only you hold.

Société Générale Global Cash is a business banking service (BIC SOGEFRPPXXX), so open-banking.io connects corporate accounts. Access consent under PSD2 lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve to keep the sync running.

How to connect Société Générale Global Cash

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up at open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your cryptographic keys are generated locally on your device; the service only ever sees your public key.
  2. In the dashboard, choose Société Générale Global Cash from the bank list and select the business account type.
  3. You are redirected to Société Générale's own secure login, where you authenticate and approve the access request (the standard PSD2 consent).
  4. Once approved, your accounts and transactions sync back into your open-banking.io dashboard, ready to view.

Access your data

After a connection exists, developers can optionally read it in code. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests carry the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections that already exist — there is no connect command, because banks are linked in the dashboard.

Because open-banking.io is zero-knowledge, its servers store only ciphertext and your public key: an API key alone returns encrypted data until your private key unlocks it. Plans start around EUR 3/month.
