Reach your Colonya, Caixa d'Estalvis de Pollença accounts through a single, privacy-first layer. open-banking.io links to Colonya under PSD2 and streams your balances and transactions into one dashboard — covering both business and personal accounts. Nothing leaves your control unencrypted: your data is decrypted locally with a key only you hold, so open-banking.io stores just your public key and can never read what flows through it.

How to connect Colonya

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated on your own device.
  2. In the dashboard, choose Colonya and select the account type you want to link — business or personal.
  3. You are redirected to Colonya's own secure login, where you approve access (BIC CECAESMM056) on the bank's consent screen.
  4. Your accounts sync back into the dashboard and refresh automatically.

Colonya grants consent for up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve on the bank's screen to keep the link live.

Access your data

Once Colonya is connected, developers can optionally read the data programmatically. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there, use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync the connection you already made in the dashboard — there is no connect command, and an API key alone returns only ciphertext without your private key.

All of this runs certificate-free at around EUR 3 per month, with no PSD2 licensing or eIDAS certificate to obtain yourself.

Do I need an API key to connect Colonya?

No. Linking Colonya is done in the dashboard by approving access on the bank's login. API keys are only for reading data afterward.

Can open-banking.io see my Colonya transactions?

No. The service is zero-knowledge and holds only your public key. Data is decrypted on your device with a key only you have.

Which Colonya accounts are supported?

Both business and personal accounts held with Colonya (BIC CECAESMM056) can be linked under a 180-day consent.
