How to connect Sparekassen Djursland

Access your data

Reading your data programmatically is an optional step that comes after the bank is connected. Open the Developers page, create an API key, and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API directly. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key alone only ever returns ciphertext; without your private key, nobody — not even open-banking.io — can read it. Note that the CLI and SDK read and sync existing connections only; there is no connect command.

Does open-banking.io ever see my Sparekassen Djursland balances?

No. The platform is zero-knowledge and stores only your public key. Decryption happens on your device with a private key you alone hold.
