Oikos Andelskasse open banking & API access data

Andelskassen Oikos is a values-based Danish cooperative bank, and with open-banking.io you can pull its account and transaction data into one dashboard without wrestling with eIDAS certificates or a bespoke bank integration. open-banking.io reaches 2,600+ EU and UK banks under PSD2, and everything Oikos Andelskasse sends back is decrypted on your own device with a key that never leaves it.

Both business and personal Oikos Andelskasse accounts are supported. Oikos publishes no dedicated open-banking BIC, so there is nothing extra to look up — you select the bank by name in the dashboard.

How to connect Oikos Andelskasse

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your key pair is generated locally in your browser; only your public key is ever uploaded.
  2. In the dashboard, search for Oikos Andelskasse and choose the account type you want to link — business or personal.
  3. You are redirected to Oikos Andelskasse's own secure login, where you approve the PSD2 access request directly with the bank.
  4. Your accounts sync back into the dashboard. The consent you grant lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve on the bank's screen.

Access your data

Once Oikos Andelskasse is connected, reading the data programmatically is an optional developer step. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — it bundles that API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. There is no connect command in the tooling — the CLI and SDK only read and sync connections you already made in the dashboard.

Because open-banking.io is zero-knowledge, its servers hold only your public key and can never read your Oikos Andelskasse data. The whole service runs about EUR 3 per month, with no certificate paperwork.

Does open-banking.io store my Oikos Andelskasse credentials?

No. You authenticate on Oikos Andelskasse's own login, and open-banking.io only keeps encrypted data it cannot decrypt.

Can I access business Oikos Andelskasse accounts?

Yes. Both business and personal account types can be linked and read.

What happens after 180 days?

PSD2 consent expires at 180 days; reconnect in the dashboard to keep syncing.
