Jyske Mastercard Open Banking & API Access | open-banking.io

Jyske Mastercard holders in Denmark can bring their card and account data into a single, private workspace with open-banking.io. Whether you are reconciling business spending or tracking personal purchases, the service pulls balances and transactions from Jyske Mastercard under PSD2 and keeps everything encrypted with a key that never leaves your device. Both business and personal account types are supported, and access consent lasts up to 180 days before you renew it.

How to connect Jyske Mastercard

Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up for an open-banking.io account.
  2. Set an encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally on your own device, so only you can later unlock the data.
  3. In the dashboard, search for and select Jyske Mastercard, then choose whether it is a business or personal account.
  4. You are redirected to Jyske Mastercard's own secure login and consent screen, where you approve access directly with the bank.
  5. Your accounts and transactions sync back into your dashboard, ready to view.

Because Jyske Mastercard has no BIC listed here, simply picking it by name in the dashboard is all you need.

Access your data

Once the connection is live, developers can optionally read it programmatically. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections you already made in the dashboard — they never establish new ones.

open-banking.io is zero-knowledge and certificate-free: its servers hold only your public key and can never read or decrypt your Jyske Mastercard data. With 2,600+ banks covered for around EUR 3/month, it stays affordable whether you connect one card or many.

Do I need an API key to connect Jyske Mastercard?

No. Connecting is done in the dashboard through Jyske Mastercard's own login. API keys are only for reading data afterwards.

Up to 180 days. After that you re-approve access on Jyske Mastercard's consent screen to keep syncing.

Can open-banking.io see my transactions?

No. Data is decrypted locally with a key only you hold, so the service only ever stores ciphertext.
