Volksbank Ober-Mörlen Open Banking & API Access
Getting programmatic reach into your Volksbank Ober-Mörlen accounts usually means certificates, sandboxes and PSD2 paperwork. open-banking.io removes all of that. It is a zero-knowledge, certificate-free service covering 2,600+ EU and UK banks, so your Ober-Mörlen balances and transactions flow into one dashboard — and, if you want, into your own scripts — without you ever handing raw credentials to a third party.
Volksbank Ober-Mörlen (BIC GENODE51OBM) is supported for both business and personal accounts, with a maximum PSD2 consent window of 180 days before you re-approve.
How to connect Volksbank Ober-Mörlen
Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code or key involved in this step.
- Sign up at open-banking.io and set an encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally on your own device.
- In the dashboard, pick Volksbank Ober-Mörlen and choose the account type (business or personal).
- You are redirected to Volksbank Ober-Mörlen's own secure login to approve access on the bank's consent screen.
- Once approved, your accounts sync straight into your dashboard, refreshed within the 180-day consent.
Because the service is zero-knowledge, open-banking.io holds only your public key. Data is encrypted before it leaves your device, so the servers store ciphertext they cannot read.
Access your data
Want to work with the data in code? That is an optional step after connecting. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — it bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. Then use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key.
The CLI and SDKs only read and sync connections you already made in the dashboard — there is no connect command. An API key alone returns ciphertext; without your private key it stays unreadable, which is exactly the point.
All of this runs for around EUR 3/month, no certificates, no eIDAS setup.
Is my Volksbank Ober-Mörlen login shared with open-banking.io?
No. You enter it only on Volksbank Ober-Mörlen's own consent screen. open-banking.io never sees your banking password.
Can I use both business and personal accounts?
Yes. Both account types at Volksbank Ober-Mörlen are supported; add each one in the dashboard.
How often do I re-authorise?
PSD2 caps consent at 180 days, so you re-approve access roughly twice a year.
