Sparkasse IngolstadtEichstätt API Access & Open Banking

Reaching your Sparkasse IngolstadtEichstätt accounts programmatically no longer means wrestling with eIDAS certificates or a bespoke PSD2 sandbox. open-banking.io gives you one dashboard that speaks to 2,600+ EU and UK institutions, including Sparkasse IngolstadtEichstätt (BIC BYLADEM1ING), and hands the decryption keys to you alone. Business and personal accounts are both supported, and a single approval keeps data flowing for up to 180 days before you re-consent.

The service is zero-knowledge and certificate-free: keys are generated on your own device, and open-banking.io's servers only ever hold your public key. Whatever syncs down is ciphertext to everyone but you.

How to connect Sparkasse IngolstadtEichstätt

Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up at open-banking.io and set an encryption passphrase. Your key pair is created locally, so the passphrase never leaves your machine.
  2. In the dashboard, search for Sparkasse IngolstadtEichstätt and choose the account type you need — business or personal.
  3. You're redirected to Sparkasse IngolstadtEichstätt's own secure login, where you authenticate and approve access under PSD2. open-banking.io never sees your banking credentials.
  4. Once you approve, your accounts and transactions sync straight into the dashboard, ready to view or export.

Access your data

After a connection exists, developers can optionally read it in code. Open the Developers page, create an API key, and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. Then use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API directly. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections that already exist — they never create one. An API key on its own returns only ciphertext; without your private key it stays unreadable.

At roughly EUR 3/month, you get ongoing access across every bank you link, not a per-connection fee.

Does open-banking.io store my Sparkasse IngolstadtEichstätt login?

Can open-banking.io read my transactions?

No. It holds only your public key, so stored data is encrypted end to end and decrypts only on your device.
