Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg API Access & Open Banking
Reaching account data from Raiffeisenbank eG, Lauenburg/Elbe no longer means wrestling with bank certificates or a PSD2 sandbox. open-banking.io gives you a single, privacy-first path to your Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg balances and transactions — covering both business and personal accounts (BIC GENODEF1RLB) alongside 2,600+ other EU and UK banks. Everything you pull is encrypted, and only you hold the key to read it.
How to connect Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg
Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, key, or code involved in this step.
- Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally on your own device, so open-banking.io only ever stores your public key.
- In the dashboard, choose Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg and select the account type you need — business or personal.
- You're redirected to Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg's own secure login, where you approve access on the bank's PSD2 consent screen. Consent lasts up to 180 days before you renew it.
- Your approved accounts sync straight back into your dashboard, ready to view.
Because the redirect goes to the bank's own login, your credentials are never seen by open-banking.io.
Access your data
Once a connection exists, developers can optionally read it programmatically. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries your X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. The API key alone only ever returns ciphertext — without your private key there is nothing readable to see. The CLI and SDK read and sync existing connections; they never create one.
This is what zero-knowledge and certificate-free mean in practice: open-banking.io's servers cannot read or decrypt your Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg data. All of it runs for around EUR 3/month.
Is a bank certificate or license required?
No. open-banking.io is certificate-free — you connect through Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg's standard PSD2 consent flow, nothing more.
Can open-banking.io see my Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg transactions?
No. Data is decrypted only on your device with a key that never leaves it. The service holds only your public key.
How long does access stay active?
Raiffeisenbank Lauenburg grants consent for up to 180 days. After that you simply re-approve on the bank's consent screen to keep syncing.
