Raiffeisenbank Erlenbach Open Banking & API Access

Reaching account data at Raiffeisenbank Erlenbach no longer means wrestling with PSD2 certificates or bank-specific sandboxes. open-banking.io gives you a single, privacy-first path to this Baden-Württemberg cooperative bank (BIC GENODES1ERL), covering both business and personal accounts. Everything your accounts return is encrypted end to end and decrypted on your own device with a key only you hold — the service is zero-knowledge and certificate-free, so you never upload an eIDAS cert or expose credentials to a middleman.

How to connect Raiffeisenbank Erlenbach

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key in this step:

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your key pair is generated locally on your device, so only you can later unlock the data.
  2. In the dashboard, search for and select Raiffeisenbank Erlenbach, then choose the account type you need (business or personal).
  3. You are redirected to Raiffeisenbank Erlenbach's own secure login and consent screen, where you approve access directly with the bank (standard PSD2 consent, valid for up to 180 days before you renew it).
  4. Once approved, your accounts sync back into your dashboard and stay updated there.

No redirect handling, developer flow, or client secret is involved — the account holder approves everything on the bank's side.

Access your data

Want the data programmatically? That's an optional step after the connection above exists. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — it bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key on its own only ever returns ciphertext, because open-banking.io's servers store nothing but your public key and can never read your data.

Is a certificate required?

No. open-banking.io is certificate-free — no eIDAS or QWAC setup. You approve access on Raiffeisenbank Erlenbach's consent screen and manage everything from the dashboard.

Can the CLI connect the bank for me?

No. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections that already exist. There is no connect command — linking Raiffeisenbank Erlenbach always happens in the dashboard.

What does it cost?

Around EUR 3/month, covering access to Raiffeisenbank Erlenbach and 2,600+ other EU/UK banks.
