Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte Open Banking & API Access
Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte eG (BIC GENODEF1KBL) is the cooperative bank rooted in Klein Berßen and the wider Emsland region of Lower Saxony. If you want a clean, private way to pull your Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte balances and transactions into your own tools, open-banking.io gives you PSD2 access without certificates, eIDAS onboarding, or a licensing project. It is a zero-knowledge service: your data is decrypted locally with a key that never leaves your device, so nobody — not even open-banking.io — can read what syncs.
How to connect Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte
Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.
- Sign up for open-banking.io and set an encryption passphrase. Your key pair is generated right there on your own device.
- In the dashboard, search for Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte and choose the account type you hold — business or personal.
- You are redirected to Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte's own secure login, where you approve access on the bank's PSD2 consent screen. Consent lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve.
- Your accounts sync back into the dashboard, encrypted with your key.
That's the whole flow — you approve directly with the bank, and open-banking.io only ever holds your public key.
Access your data
Once the connection exists, reading it programmatically is an optional developer step. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key on its own only ever returns ciphertext; without your private key it stays unreadable. Note the CLI and SDK read and sync existing connections — they never create one.
All of this runs for around EUR 3/month, covering 2,600+ EU and UK banks.
Do I need an eIDAS certificate?
No. open-banking.io is certificate-free — you never provision a QWAC or QSEAL to reach Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte.
Can open-banking.io see my Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte transactions?

How long does access last before I re-approve?
Raiffeisenbank Ems-Vechte grants consent for up to 180 days. When it expires, reconnect through the dashboard to refresh it.
