Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch Open Banking & API Access

Reaching your Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch accounts shouldn't mean wrestling with eIDAS certificates or a bank sandbox. open-banking.io gives you PSD2 access to this Schleswig-Holstein cooperative bank (BIC GENODEF1HTE) through one dashboard, then hands you clean, locally-decrypted data for whatever you're building — a bookkeeping sync, a cashflow tool, or a personal finance dashboard. Both business and personal Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch accounts are supported.

Everything runs zero-knowledge: your encryption keys are generated on your own device, and open-banking.io only ever holds your public key. It cannot read or decrypt your statements. No certificate application, no waiting on developer onboarding — plans start at roughly EUR 3/month.

How to connect Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch

Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your private key is created locally and never leaves your device.
  2. In the dashboard, search for Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch and choose the account type you need — business or personal.
  3. You're redirected to Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch's own secure login and consent screen, where you approve access under PSD2. Your credentials stay with the bank.
  4. Your approved accounts sync straight into your dashboard. Consent lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve on the bank's screen.

Access your data

Want to read the data programmatically? That's an optional step after connecting. Open the Developers page, create an API key, and export a credentials.json — this bundles your API key together with your private decryption key.

From there, use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API directly. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync connections you've already made in the dashboard — there is no connect command. An API key alone returns ciphertext; without your private key the data stays unreadable.

Is my Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch login shared with open-banking.io?

No. You authenticate only on Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch's own consent page. open-banking.io never sees your banking credentials.

Both business and personal Raiffeisenbank Elbmarsch accounts (BIC GENODEF1HTE) are supported under a single consent, valid for up to 180 days.

Do I need an eIDAS certificate?

No. open-banking.io is certificate-free — no QWAC or QSeal setup on your side.
