Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden Open Banking API
Reach your Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden (BIC OSDDDE81XXX) accounts through a single, privacy-first bridge. open-banking.io links your Dresden business or personal accounts under PSD2 and streams balances and transactions into a dashboard only you can decrypt — no bank certificates, no eIDAS licence, no scraping. It covers 2,600+ EU/UK banks, so Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden sits alongside every other account you hold.
The design is zero-knowledge from the first click. When you sign up you set an encryption passphrase and your keys are generated on your own device, so the service only ever holds your public key. Everything it stores about your Dresden accounts stays encrypted at rest, and it is decrypted locally when you view it.
How to connect Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden
Connecting happens entirely in the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key in this step.
- Create your account and set your encryption passphrase; your private key never leaves your device.
- In the dashboard, choose Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden and select the account type you need — business or personal.
- You are redirected to Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden's own secure login and consent screen, where you approve access directly with the bank.
- Your accounts sync back into the dashboard. Consent lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply re-approve on the bank's screen.
Access your data
Once accounts are connected, developers can optionally read them programmatically. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. The CLI and SDK only read and sync existing connections — they never connect a bank. An API key without your private key returns ciphertext, nothing readable.
Pricing is around EUR 3/month for the whole toolkit and all connected banks.
Is a bank certificate or licence required?
No. open-banking.io is certificate-free — you approve access on Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden's consent screen, and no eIDAS or QWAC certificate is needed on your side.
Can open-banking.io read my Dresden transactions?
No. It is zero-knowledge and holds only your public key. Data is decrypted locally with the private key held solely by you.
Which account types can I connect?
Both business and personal Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden accounts are supported, each authorised on the bank's own login.
