How to connect Kreissparkasse Stendal

  1. Sign up at open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally on your device, so only you can unlock your data.
  2. In the dashboard, choose Kreissparkasse Stendal and pick the account type — business or personal.
  3. You are redirected to Kreissparkasse Stendal's own secure login, where you approve access on the bank's PSD2 consent screen.
  4. Your accounts sync back into the dashboard, and balances and transactions stay up to date automatically.

Access your data

Once a connection exists, developers can optionally read it programmatically. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. Then use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Every request carries the X-Api-Key header, and each response is decrypted locally with your own key. The API key alone only ever returns ciphertext — without your private key, the data stays sealed. The CLI and SDK read and sync existing connections; they never create one.

All of this runs for roughly EUR 3 per month, with no certificate paperwork and no per-bank onboarding.

Does open-banking.io see my Kreissparkasse Stendal data?

No. The service holds only your public key. Decryption happens on your device, so the servers store ciphertext they cannot read.
