IBM Deutschland Kreditbank Open Banking & API Access

Reaching your IBM Deutschland Kreditbank accounts through a single, private interface no longer means wrestling with PSD2 certificates or bespoke bank integrations. open-banking.io links to IBM Deutschland Kreditbank (BIC IBKBDES1XXX) and 2,600+ other EU and UK institutions, covering both business and personal account types. Everything you retrieve is decrypted on your own device with a key only you hold — the platform never sees your balances or transactions in the clear.

How to connect IBM Deutschland Kreditbank

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step:

  1. Sign up for an open-banking.io account.
  2. Set an encryption passphrase. Your cryptographic keys are generated locally on your device, so open-banking.io only ever stores your public key.
  3. In the dashboard, pick IBM Deutschland Kreditbank and choose the account type you want to link (business or personal).
  4. You are redirected to IBM Deutschland Kreditbank's own secure login and consent screen, where you approve access directly with the bank under PSD2.
  5. Your approved accounts sync back into the dashboard automatically.

Consent lasts up to 180 days, after which you simply repeat the approval on the bank's screen to keep the connection alive.

Access your data

Once an account is connected, reading it programmatically is an optional developer step. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — this bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there you can use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. The API key alone only ever returns ciphertext — without your private key, the data stays unreadable, which is the whole point of a zero-knowledge design.

The CLI and SDK read and sync existing connections; they never establish new ones — that always happens in the dashboard against IBM Deutschland Kreditbank's own login.

Pricing

Access costs roughly EUR 3/month, with no per-certificate fees and no enterprise onboarding.
