Allianz Bank Blugaria (Bulgaria) holds your everyday balances and transaction history — and open-banking.io lets you reach that data on your own terms. As a zero-knowledge, certificate-free PSD2 service covering 2,600+ EU and UK banks, it links your accounts without eIDAS certificates, screen-scraping, or handing anyone your credentials. Everything you retrieve is decrypted on your device with a key that never leaves it, so open-banking.io only ever stores your public key and ciphertext it cannot read.

Allianz Bank Blugaria is reachable under BIC BUINBGSF, and both business and personal account types are supported. Each consent you approve stays valid for up to 180 days before Bulgarian PSD2 rules require you to renew it.

How to connect Allianz Bank Blugaria

Connecting happens entirely inside the open-banking.io dashboard — there is no API call, code, or key involved in this step.

  1. Sign up for open-banking.io and set your encryption passphrase. Your keys are generated locally, on your own device.
  2. In the dashboard, search for and select Allianz Bank Blugaria, then choose whether you're linking a business or personal account.
  3. You're redirected to Allianz Bank Blugaria's own secure login, where you authenticate and approve access directly with the bank (standard PSD2 consent).
  4. Once approved, your accounts and transactions sync back into your open-banking.io dashboard, ready to view.

You never share your Allianz Bank Blugaria password with open-banking.io — approval happens only on the bank's screen.

Access your data

Want to work with the data programmatically? That's an optional step after the connection above exists. On the Developers page, create an API key and export a credentials.json — it bundles the API key together with your private decryption key. From there use the CLI (openbanking accounts, openbanking transactions, openbanking sync), an SDK, or the REST API. Requests authenticate with the X-Api-Key header, and every response is decrypted locally with your own key. An API key on its own only returns ciphertext — readable data requires your private key, which stays with you.

All of this runs for roughly EUR 3/month.

Does open-banking.io see my Allianz Bank Blugaria data?

No. It's zero-knowledge: it holds only your public key and encrypted blobs, decrypted on your device.

Can the CLI connect my account?

No. The CLI and SDKs only read or sync existing connections. Linking a bank happens in the dashboard.
